75 MW Solar Thermal Power Plant
Florida Power & Light
Indiantown, FL

(Completed under Parent Lauren Engineers & Constructors, Inc.)

FPLEngineering, Procurement and Construction contract for a 75 MW Concentrated Solar Power Plant located near Indiantown, Florida. At project completion, this landmark solar project achieved several milestones for solar power: the first hybrid solar facility in the world to connect to an existing combined-cycle power plant and the largest solar thermal plant in the eastern United States;. This plant, named FPL's Martin Next Generation Solar Energy Center, is located on 500 acres of land adjacent to FPL's Martin Power Plant. The solar energy center was Commissioned in November 2010 and Commercial Operation was achieved in December 2010.

72 MW Solar Thermal Power Generating Facility
Solargenix Energy
Boulder City, NV

(Completed under Parent Lauren Engineers & Constructors, Inc.)

NSOEngineering, Procurement and Construction contract to build a 72 MW power generating facility in Boulder City, Nevada. At project completion, Nevada Solar One was the largest-capacity solar thermal plant to be built in 17 years and the third-largest in the world. The plant consists of a Power Block area and a 400-acre field of mirror arrays that focus the heat of the desert sun into a heat transfer fluid system. Nevada Solar One was completed during the third quarter of 2007.
